Story Spies: Halloween Fun Edition
In this multi-day course, students will read a mini-book for emergent readers and some complex sentences for early readers. Each story will be followed by comprehension questions to check for understanding.

I teach Story Spies weekly on Outschool. During October, I will host a meeting with a Haloween Theme for two days. 1. Reading comprehension will be taught 2. Reading and listening comprehension will be covered depending on the reading levels of the students 3. Introductions, Reading short stories, reading comprehension questions, finding answers in text, and discussing reading comprehension strategies for young learners. 4. I believe in a happy classroom where students are safe to express themselves and make personal connections with their learning. 5. Students will interact throughout the class I believe in a very happy classroom where students feel comfortable sharing their opinions with the group. We strengthen our understanding of each other through learning together—this is a class to connect with other students.

1 Ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate an understanding of key details in a text.
