Each session starts with Show & Tell before we explore the world of Unicorns. We'll play a short game then read a story about Unicorns. Each story is selected to empower young readers to use the magic of Unicorns to explore themes of friendship, cultural diversity, humor, self-esteem, and their community. Ms. Rae has been creating interactive online and in-person activities for elementary school kids for over a decade. She is the founder and owner of Choreography by Rae an award winning Performing Arts & Technology Center. Ms. Rae holds a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts. Ms. Amanda was born in Brazil and is a native speaker of Portuguese. She has been teaching Portuguese and doing Portuguese translation privately and professionally for over 2 decades. She has taught Portuguese to corporate leaders at major companies including General Mills, L'Oreal, and The Salvation Army. She holds a MFA in Film Production and a BA in Business Administration.
Homework Offered
Each day we'll create a project to be used for our final unicorn tea party. We recommend helping your young artist find a safe place to store their art so that they can find it easily at the end of the week.Assessments Offered

Construction Paper Glue Stick Toilet Paper Tube Paper Plate or Craft Foam Markers Crayons/ Color Pencils Pencil Old Sock (we will be using this for an art project, an adult sock is ideal. You can also use a paper lunch bag)
Some projects involve glue. Parents will be emailed a list of items that can be pre-cut prior to class. All projects use items commonly found around the house. No real tea should be used in class. Kids may have imaginary treats for the tea party.
