During this class, students will listen to Teacher Frannie read aloud "There's a Giraffe in My Soup". Before the reading, students will be guided through pre-reading activities such as making predictions, finding the title of the book, and determining if the book is fiction or nonfiction. During the reading, students will be asked comprehension questions, to make predictions, and even identify sounds heard. Skills used during this lesson coincide with common core reading standards for grades...
