After reading the story, we will ask reading comprehension questions,...
Students will learn to recall key details of a story as well as reviewing important components of books, such as the function of an author and illustrator.
We will be painting a rock! Students will need to bring a rock to class as well as paint, paint brushes and any other materials they would like to use to embellish their rock (glitter, stickers, pom poms, etc).
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Due to the painting activity, it is suggested parents be close by to supervise a messy craft.
