The mastery objective for this course is for students to be able to explain how specific weather conditions occur to create a storm. In this course students will learn about air masses and weather fronts and how they interact and the types of storms that result. We will discuss in depth how thunderstorms, tornadoes, and hurricanes form as well as the impact they can have on the environment. There will be some lab demonstrations to illustrate concepts as well as images, diagrams, and video clips.

Hello! I'm Ms. Kelly and I teach Science and STEM related classes, Intro to Spanish, and writing courses. I have been both a Special educator and a Science teacher for the past eighteen years.
