Class Experience

In this one-time class, students will learn and review basic French vocabulary in context and as related to the story (La Chenille Qui Fait des Trous - The Very Hungry Caterpillar). Students will not be required to already know French vocabulary. Reading strategies will include vocabulary introduced with pictures, repetition, and oral question and response exercises. I will do comprehension checks as I read the story to the students. Students will also have the opportunity to read aloud. Learning through stories is fun and engaging, which in turn helps to retain new knowledge.
