Gods, goddesses, magic, and trickery! Ancient Egyptian stories are full of wonderful twists and turns. You won't just be learning the stories, but also about Egyptian geography, culture, and more! Week One: Creation Myths. Egypt has several different creation myths and stories about time. How can there be different versions? What are they? How did they believe we got our 365-day year? Week Two: Goddesses on the Rampage. Egypt's goddesses were thought to be powerful and clever. This week you will learn about how the bloodthirsty Sekhmet became the beautiful Hathor, and how they are one and the same. Week Three: Isis and Osiris. A tragic story of doomed love and what lengths a mother will go to in order to protect her child. Week Four: Horus and Set. Isis' son Horus lived in constant danger from his uncle, the desert god Set. Who will win and become king of the gods?
