Class Experience

In this ongoing class about stop motion animation, students will have a weekly challenge to complete using Stop Motion Studio Pro, the $5 paid version of the app. Students can come with experience or with none at all to learn from one another. All I ask is that you come prepared to film throughout the class. Feel free to join in the middle of an ongoing session.

Bring a device that has its camera enabled and the app downloaded. Please open it before class to make sure it loads and that the camera functions. Have figures to film, a steady surface to film them on, and either a tripod or homemade tripod to keep your camera steady. Other items you might enjoy using in stop motion are string to make items fly and bounce and green screen to create different locations.

Each week, I will provide a challenge for you to try to meet while filming!
