Stop-Motion Animation Tutor Beginners

In this online tutor session, students will learn the skills and experience on stop-motion animation. by moving models, toys, Legos, etc, then taking photos as frames via smartphone to edit and put together to create their animation.

Itinerary:
What students would be doing during the meeting sessions...

Week 1: Learning the basis of stop motion animation (Intro to Stop Motion Studio + 1st Project)
            - Sketching/drawing ideas of student's animation by creating a storyboard, deciding what objects and materials they will use for their stop-motion (due by week 2 to start editing in Stop Motion Studio).
            - Objects no more than 4 characters, has to be at least one minute video edit.

Week 2: Learning how to edit and add frames in the Stop Motion Studio App (Project 1 discussion continue)
            - Learning more additional material and introduction to green screen and backgrounds (optional). 
            
Week 3: Project 1 Progress
            - Continue to work on the animation for critique on week 4
            - Question and answers if needed
            - Learning how to pose your characters

Week 4: Project 1 Critique
           - Going over student's animations

Week 5: Introduction to Project 2
            - Sketching/drawing ideas of student's animation by creating a storyboard, deciding what objects and materials they will use for their stop-motion (due by week 6 to start the second project. 
            - Objects no less than 5 characters, 2-3 minute video edit, with music and/or sound effects (optional).

Week 6: Learning to add music and sound effects in animation
             - Videos on how to add music and sound effects to animation.

Week 7: Project 2 Progress
             - Continue to work on the animation for final critique on week 8 
             - Question and answers if needed

Week 8: Project 2 Final Critique
           - Going over student's final animation.
