This one-on-one class is for any student that would like tailored support towards a stop motion project that they would like to create.  I can also teach general skills to someone that would like to learn about stop motion animation from the beginning.  I encourage a thorough development of ideas and skills.  General preparation and steps towards creating a stop motion film usually includes storyboarding, character design/sketching, set design/sketching, armature building, set building, program knowledge, camera set up, lighting set up, and editing options.  I am happy to work with the student to tailor the process according to what they need.  This class is for students working at the beginner to late intermediate level...not advanced level. Teacher Experience- I have a masters degree in fine art, with experience in film and experimental animation. My short video artworks have been shown in multiple national art exhibitions/film festivals. I have a passion for creating my own animation short films, and I love seeing characters come to life through animation! It's truly magical!
