In class, students will be provided feedback and support.Class Experience
Participate in challenges to create stop-motion videos. Enhance your videos with sounds, effects, and so much more! This class provides students time to work on their movies and ask questions while working. You are encouraged to ask questions. We will use the Stop Motion Studio Pro App. Students should have a basic understanding of the App. ***Note: If you do not have experience with the app, you can take one of my stop motion classes that will teach you how to use the app. Have the Stop Motion Studio Pro App downloaded on your device. Our weekly class will consist of the following: ➡️ Introductions and Quick Overview of Class Expectations ➡️ Open Discussion & Practice the Skills You Want to Learn More About ➡️ Have time to Practice and Create a Movie ➡️ Work on adding effects and sounds, editing images, and inserting music. ➡️ Closing Sharing Activity and Goodbyes THE SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS: 2025 April 28 - You Are an Explorer Who Finds an Ancient Treasure May 12 - Stuck in a Picture Frame May 26 - Like Groundhog on Repeat June 9 - Trapped in a Video Game June 23 -Discovery of a New Species - Jungle? Desert? Ocean? etc... July 7 - Lost in the Woods July 21- The Floor is Lava August 4- Invasion of the _______ (you decide) August 18- Alien at the _________(you choose the location) September 1- Out of the Book (Character Escapes the Book) September 15 - Message in a Bottle Cap - (tiny message) September 29 - Action Figures Secret Hideout October 13 - Living in the Junk Drawer (objects come to life...) October 27 - Escape the Toy Box November 10 - No Class this Week November 24 - Rock Becomes a Pet and Goes on Adventure December 8 - Adventure into the Jungle December 22 - Surprise Party January 5 - A Wand Casts a Spell on... January 19 - Markers & Crayons Start a Color War February 2 - _____ Walks Away on Its Own February 16 - A Race Between ______ & _______ (who will win) March 9 - March 23- April 6 - April 20- May 11- May 25- June Dates to follow... Students will have the opportunity to discuss topics and ideas in class. It is encouraged to share ideas to promote collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Students should bring items they can use to create a scene for their weekly video. Think about the materials that you want to use in your video. PLEASE NOTE: Students need the Stop Motion Studio Pro App INSTALLED before class. The paid version has more features. If you choose to have the free version, your child will learn about the other options available, but they will not use them in the free version. We will not cover all the settings in the app (ex., green screen or more advanced editing). These skills are covered in the more extended 3-day class or 4-day camp.

Parental Guidance
Students will need Stop Motion Studio Pro in order to fully participate in the class. This can be found in the App Store or Google Play for $5.99.
Per the Stop Motion Studio App, "Your privacy is important. That's why we do not collect, use, disclose, transfer or store any data. All data is stored locally on the device. No data is transferred from the app without user consent (video upload). Our apps do not track the user and do not display advertisements."
Supply List
Students will need a second device (iPad, iPhone, tablet) that can support Stop Motion Studio Pro App. This app will need to be downloaded before class.
