Class Experience
"Stoichiometry for Beginners" is a one-time class that covers stoichiometry basics. Stoichiometry is a fundamental general chemistry concept that allows students to convert units. This class is designed to help students feel comfortable approaching any stoichiometry question that comes their way! I have developed a simple three-step method that can be used to convert any units of chemistry. The class will begin with an introduction of myself. I graduated in June 2021 from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. In 2019 I began tutoring foundational and upper-division biology and chemistry courses at the University of Denver’s Science and Engineering Center (SEC). I also attended six tutoring training programs in 2019 and 2020 hosted by the director of the SEC.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
