💥Required: Beginner level Stock Market class before enrolling in this class💥 In this 4 day lesson students will continue their learning the fundamentals of the stock market, how it works, why we invest and practice buying and selling shares of companies in real time trading with virtual 100K to invest in stock market simulation game. Students will expand their knowledge of investing in the stock market using new strategies of trading.
I am licensed and certified educator in Business Technology & Business Education, Special Education Instructional Specialist, Family & Consumer Sciences, and a graduate of the Career and Technical Education Leadership Academy and ESL Instructor and certifications in TEFL/TESL/TESOL. . I am also an entrepreneur, small business owner, W!SE Financial Literacy Instructor, Serv-Safe Instructor, and I hold a Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Radiology Health Management. I am an advocate of Career and Technical Education (CTE), life skill classes that are designed to provide students the knowledge and skills necessary for everyday living. As a state licensed Business Education Instructor and attendee of the New York Stock Exchange Teacher Education Program, I am excited to share my knowledge of how the stock market works for beginners. I spent a week with extensive interaction on the NYSE trading floor. My stock market game past participants earned 1st place in the state stock market game simulations with the highest percentage of profits competing against over 1200 teams. All of Apples2Zippers Learning Academy teachers are licensed, certified educators.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please be prepared to help your learner set up their device before class starts so learners can see and toggle between the Zoom window and their web browser during class. Learners will receive username and password to their How the Market Works virtual stock market simulation trading challenge, where they will practice buy and selling real time stocks with virtual 100K cash.
