The learner will be introduced to a handful of terms used in the market associated with a companies Fundamentals. We will look at historical chart data and tables from trading view. We will use trading view to see how the same information is presented but in a different way. The learner will be able to read the data in order to decide if a company is a good investment or not. This will be a lecture style and interactive activity throughout the class. There will be homework assigned. Section 2 - Charts and Tables -Market Vocabulary PE, EPS, Open, Close, Ticker -Historic Chart Reading AAPL, MSFT -Historic Tables associated with the charts -Activity -Free website to research stocks charts and tables - This class is part of a series. It is not required to take every class in order although it is highly recommended. The previous knowledge from each class is highly beneficial to create a solid foundation in understanding the market as a whole.
Learning Goals
The learner will be able to discuss some key vocabulary used in the stock market. They will also be able to read and understand a stock market chart and table.
