As a public-school and online teacher for a combined ten years, I’m known for creating games and activities that enhance comprehension and enjoyment of my lessons.

As an international corporate manager for sixteen years, I led highly successful teams in sales forecasting, business planning, and marketing.

Investing has been an interest of mine since 2003 when I took a series of investment courses over a three-year stretch, learning technical analysis (charting stocks). I’ve utilized Japanese candlestick charts for 19 years as an investor to predict the price movement of the NYSE, Nasdaq, S&P, as well as for individual stocks. I love studying past market data and forecasting the direction of future price movements of a stock. Of course, no one knows for sure what direction the stock market or individual stocks will take, and it has taken years of study, but I have learned to recognize and act on important signals for buying and selling.

Rather than homework, learners will receive a follow-up email with practice and research opportunities.
The learner may want to have paper and pen for notes.

Students do not need to have this source. I’ll be referring to the book, “Profitable Candlestick Trading” by Stephen W. Bigelow. This is an advanced, but thorough book about candlestick patterns.
