The young girls will be asked to begin buying stocks with the guidance of their parents/guardians.Class Experience
During this class, Young Girls just want to make MONEY for them! We will learn the fundamental basics of the Stock Market process just for girls. In this class I will break down what the stock market process with the young girls. The young girls will research their companies with my guidance and playing the Stock Market Game with a $100,000 virtual cash during the second session of the class. (The game site is online and does require the young girls go to it: www.howthemarketworks.com and to create an account.) Topics that will be covered are: - Why the stock market exists - How publicly traded companies work (VS Private) - When to sell, when to buy - Apps for trading stocks for girls. - What are penny stocks? - What are Capital Gains? -Key Vocabulary Terms Structure of the Class: Opening, Learning Session and Closing

The young girls will learn the basic fundamentals of the Stock Market in this class.

A one page homework assignment will be given to the girls after the first class.

I have taught grades K to 12th grade for over 18 plus years, all core content classes ( life, social and financial skills). In addition, I have taught adults learners. I also teach social and emotional sessions to all learners to aid in assisting students with their mental health. I teach students how to write a book and publish their books as well.
