Description
Class Experience
This is going to be a blast! Especially in this current environment. We will discuss investing, sectors, asset allocation. My teaching style is very interactive. Each student will create a stock portfolio and we will discuss the performance and why each week. Students will be expected to watch their different stocks prices and research volatility. Example: If they own Nike (NKE), why has it been under performing lately? Is this something that will continue? What are the catalysts for...
Students will walk away with an understanding of the stock market and investing.
I worked at both Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan. I passed my series 63, 6,7, and CRPC (Certified Retirement Plan Consultant). I worked in sales and research marketing and retired as a Vice President.
Weekly homework includes: -Watching stocks in their portfolio -Understanding the volatility of the stock
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners will be assessed on their participation and weekly stock knowledge.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
