This is a one-time Science class for preschool, kindergarten, and first-grade students. We will learn all about three different types of bug-eating plants. We will have fun learning through discussion, activities, and a simple art project.

Class Experience
Do you ever stop to smell the flowers? Some bugs and animals get drawn in by the sweet smell as well but for some, it is a big mistake. The Venus Flytrap, Pitcher Plants, and Cape Sundew would be the worst flowers for small animals and bugs to smell. These carnivorous plants get their nutrients from absorbing other living things. This class is taught in English.
In this class, the students will make observations and predictions. They will be able to compare and contrast the different types of carnivorous plants. They will be able to describe how each plant attracts, traps, and digests its prey.
Paper, pencil, and coloring supplies.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
