In this introduction to figure and gesture drawing, we will learn to sketch the correct proportions of the body and a variety of fun ways to practice drawing people in action!
Class experience
This fun class introduces young artists to figure drawing and gesture drawing and gives helpful information for any learner who is interested in drawing people more realistically! We will begin by viewing and discussing the proportions of the human body and how to use these guidelines when drawing a person in action. Learners will then be shown how just adding a few upgrades to a regular stick person can result in a much more useful and realistic figure. We will alternate between...
