Class Experience
In this class students will be introduced to the fundamentals of musical theatre technique while incorporating what they've learned into a Broadway style musical number from Mary Poppins. We will start the lesson with an icebreaker activity followed by a quick overview of class expectations and an introduction to the important tools in an actor's toolbox (body, voice and imagination). Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of musical theatre technique.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I recommend students have an open space where they can move around and dance safely. Please have a water bottle handy and be sure to have safe shoes. No sandals or flip-flops please.
