Teacher expertise and credentials
I have a BA and MA in Art History from the University of North Texas. I have been a teacher for more than 15 years in public schools, private schools and homeschool. I have taught all ages from elementary all the way to high school and have loved each level equally.
I believe that art education expands a students worldview and broadens their horizon and is essential for students to create a bridge between their local and global communities.
I am a life long learner and would consider it a joy and privilege to impart some of my passion to your child as one of my students. I love to travel and study masterpieces, architecture as well as explore the outdoors and study nature. I don't just love teaching art for arts sake, but to look at History through art, as well as Science. Art is a fun place to learn about subjects that may be dry in a regular classroom.
In my classroom, we will learn to look at and create our own masterpieces of nature, animals, landscape, architecture and more. I can't wait to see you in the classroom and creating art with you!
