This is a multi-day, dragon themed, step by step drawing class. Each week throughout our hour and 10 minute class time, I will guide and teach each student how to draw five different full paper sized dragon drawings. Everyone will start with basic shapes and lines, and then slowly after we go through each step, our drawings will transform into a fully formed Dragons! This is an offshoot of my single day, Step by Step Art Creations: Mythical Creatures class. In that class we do a dragonling...
It’s my hope that after each class my students will gain more confidence in their drawing abilities as well as, self expression, creative thinking, and basic color theory. Along with that, each student will walk away knowing how to draw different elemental dragon types.
I have taken many online, and in-classroom drawing, painting, and art theory classes. I have seven younger siblings, and also a lot of past nanny experience caring for and teaching children on a long term basis. The kids I care for, my siblings included, have all enjoyed, and benefited from my knowledge of drawing, painting, and art. Having been around children my entire life, I have the patience and positive demeanor necessary to teach young students to draw step by step with a smile. It is a good way for kids to hone in on their artistic and creative potential, while defining their individual aesthetic.
Pencils and erasers. Drawing pad or printer paper. Preferred coloring supplies. Black Lining marker or pen.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Lets spread the knowledge and spread the smiles!
