This course will walk students through the compartments in a real World War II Gato class submarine! Students will receive information about each compartment, and hear a variety of submarine stories. There will be time for questions and answers throughout the virtual tour.

Students will gain a better appreciation from the sacrifices our submarine crews made during World War II.

Parental Guidance
This class will have an age appropriate discussion of an appendectomy that occurred aboard the USS Silversides.

I have a BA in history, and am currently employed at a submarine museum. Our largest artifact is a 312 foot Gato class submarine that served in the Pacific Theater during WWII.
