In this one-time class, students will learn and build upon STEAM concepts through PowerPoint, class discussion, and hands-on learning through an experiment. Learners will then have the opportunity to participate and complete a science experiment making unpoppable bubbles. Science safety and personal protective equipment will be taught through slideshows and class discussions. Prior to starting the experiment, learners will have a short, interactive quiz (built into the slideshow) to gauge...
This class is taught in English.
- 2 cups of water - ¼ dish soap - 2 tablespoons of glycerin - A few pipettes and/or bubble wand - Cotton gloves - Bowl - Spoon
There will be a short, interactive quiz to gauge the learners' understanding of science safety prior to the experiment.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be doing an experiment using common household products, parents may want to supervise or assist as needed. Please not that due to Outschool Safety Policies, only the enrolled student may be on camera.
