During this class students will be building, mixing and creating. Each class we will work on a different STEM Challenge designed to promote independent thinking along with group think. If two heads are better than one then what do you think three or four or more can do? That's right! We will get busy using different household materials to create, learn and solve. Students will work to apply their skills learned in engineering, mathematics, technology, communication, and science. They will enjoy a fun learning activity alongside their peers. This is a great way to learn through play!
A supply list will be given in the classroom for each class. After each class I will post the supplies needed for the next week. I will also post it to each parent after class. I will be working with mostly common household items. Some of the challenges will require additional items. I do my best to keep purchasing to a minimum.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
