Preschool and kindergarten students will learn STEAM concepts about bees, ladybugs, praying mantises, ants, and many more. We will make 2 art projects, learn about life cycles, habitats, and insect families, and socialize with new friends.

Brand New Material: My STEM class families have asked for summer sessions. I am delighted to offer several mini-camps with totally different content. I created new lessons that do not repeat anything from my STEM courses. Thanks! **Appropriate for 3-year-olds, although they may need help using scissors.** We need at least 2 students in each class section. If your child is the only one in a section, you have the option of switching to another. There are 3 different topics under the "Captivating Chemistry Camp" series and 5 different topics under the "Summer STEM Science Camp" series. Thanks for all the time requests! I have added more sections. :) ______________________________________________________________________ Insects are fascinating! Many people overlook the creepy crawlies but they are so important for our world. We will create simple crafts, listen to the noises they make, learn about their homes and habits, and meet new friends. Our schedule: Day 1: Ladybugs (why they are useful, what they eat, body parts, need printable pdf, crayons, scissors, glue) Day 2: Bees (project: need printable pdf, crayons, scissors, glue) Day 3: Ants (body parts, life cycle, life in the colony, need printable pdf, crayons, scissors, glue) Day 4: Praying Mantis (project: need printable pdf, crayons, scissors, glue) Day 5: Huge Bugs! Prepare to be amazed by the size of these insects. Please have a ruler in class.
