In this one-time STEAM class, students will expand learn and expand upon STEAM concepts through slideshows, video clips, and class discussion. Learners will then have the opportunity to participate and complete a science experiment on rising water. Science safety and personal protective equipment will be taught through slideshows and class discussions. There will be a short, interactive quiz to gauge the learners' understanding of science safety prior to completing the experiment.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental Guidance and assistance are required during the experiment as we will need to use fire. Please note that due to Outschool's safety policy parents must remain off-camera.
