This class explores coding principles based on Scratch which is a visual block programming language that makes coding fun and intuitive. We cover basic coding concepts such as events, loops, conditionals, variables, and much more in order to promote creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Students will need: - Either a PC, Mac, or iPad. Note: Any other tablets are not compatible. - Minecraft Education Edition (Free of charge) installed prior to joining the class

In this class, we will use an educational game called Minecraft Education Edition. This program allows students to learn the principles of programming through visual blocks. We can use the blocks to create structures like a game developer would do. To use the program, a username a password will be provided during the class. No personal information is required to use this app.
