In this interactive and hands-on STEM class, your child will explore key math concepts through game development and coding. They’ll engage with topics like number lines, tangrams, and comparing numbers, all while building their own fun math games. Class Structure: Each class is structured to be highly interactive, with a blend of live coding, game creation, and problem-solving. We'll break down concepts with simple explanations, followed by step-by-step guidance on coding math games. Students will have opportunities to work individually, as well as in collaborative groups, depending on the class activity. Teaching Style: Our teaching approach is active and engaging, making math fun through hands-on coding. We encourage creative thinking, real-world applications, and logical reasoning. We guide students through challenges while also giving them space to explore independently. Expect plenty of visual aids, coding demonstrations, and fun math games! Interaction: Learners will get plenty of chances to interact through live coding exercises, discussions, and problem-solving sessions. They'll receive feedback as they work through projects, ensuring they fully understand the math concepts. We’ll use a combination of slides, visual examples, coding demos, and games. Students will be actively engaged in coding during the session and can ask questions at any time. In each session, the focus will be on practical, hands-on learning, with the goal of making math concepts both engaging and understandable through game-based activities.
