Class Experience

Have fun, learn perseverance, practice dexterity, use a soft touch when balancing.
I am a STEAM teacher for grades 1-5 at a public elementary school. I teach 600 students each week, and have a love for active learning. What better way to get students moving and excited than to present them with fluffy, sticky sugar?
Prepare your materials for the next class.
*I will post on the classroom discussion the day before each class, so you know exactly what to prepare for the coming lesson.* -marshmallows (mini and standard) -toothpicks OR spaghetti OR straws -popsicle sticks -tape -about 5 rubber bands -small bowl of water (boat building) -paper towel or rag to clean up hands or spills
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
If students are present and participating in the challenges, they are progressing perfectly.
3 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
