In this 1-time class, students will listen to the story "How to Catch the Easter Bunny," and make a tall jellybean tower.
Class Experience
Students will begin by introducing themselves and sharing something special. The teacher will read the story "How to Catch the Easter Bunny." "I've been working long and hard with all my peeps and crew. We've made the eggs, and now I'm here to bring them all to you!" What else do you like at Easter time? What are some of your traditions? We will discuss the question, "How can I make a free-standing tower with jellybeans and toothpicks? Students will take time to draw what their tower will...
Students will learn how to make a tall free-standing tower with 25 jellybeans and 25 toothpicks. It would be a good idea to have these in a plastic baggy (already counted out) before the class begins.
I have been teaching for over 13 years. I have been through STEM training and enjoy incorporating the arts, STEM, and writing with reading.
