Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to make a tall free-standing tower with 25 jellybeans and 25 toothpicks. It would be a good idea to have these in a plastic baggy (already counted out) before the class begins.
I have been teaching for over 13 years. I have been through STEM training and enjoy incorporating the arts, STEM, and writing with reading.
I have attached a link to a FREE resource where students can write their own story of "How to Catch an Easter Bunny." This is optional, but a great way to incorporate writing with reading.
2 files available upon enrollment2 page handout (under classroom materials) 25 jellybeans 25 toothpicks pencil crayons or markers ruler (optional)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will share their jelly bean towers with the group.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This is an Easter story.
