This STEM activity has a specific purpose as students use the binary alphabet code to make hearts out of colors and patterns. Great experimental class! This is a wonderful, hands-on craft encouraging the use of patterns, art, and STEM! This project also incorporates fine motor skills and discussion.
I served the Director of Ancillary Services tasked with planning and executing summer and winter camps at a PK-12 school. I hold a degree in Psychology and an MBA, a 150-hour master teacher certificate for teaching English as a second language courses and have served as a college counselor for almost 5 years advising students and families on the college acceptance process. I have taught middle school-math, reading and experimental science, have been an academic administrator in a Pre-K 12 school and was a founding director of a Learning Center.
