This is an open-topic mentoring program where your learner can meet with Teacher Tom for assistance with projects, homework, brainstorming, Kerbal Space Program, Boy/Girl Scout badge help, Arduino kits, Snap Circuits, Woodworking & more! This class runs the same as my 1:1 STEM mentoring class, however it allows for groups of friends or chosen classmates to meet together to work on specific projects. Learners will make progress on their individual projects with mentoring help from the teacher.
Teacher Tom is a lifelong Space & Science Enthusiast, Rocket Science, Robotics and Engineering Teacher, Professional Finish Carpenter, Electronics Whiz & Licensed Ham Radio Operator in 2 Countries with over 14 years teaching youth as a Mentor, Teacher, Scout Leader, Camp Counselor, Sports Coach, and more. Tom has attended school in 3 countries. In 2021 Tom was featured as one of Outschool's EPIC featured teachers for his "Passion-driven" Teaching.
