Beginner Level
Students will be taught the engineering design process. They will be introduced to the process before being tasked with the challenge. The challenge will be building the tallest tower with raw spaghetti and marshmallows. Students will also be asked to measure how tall their tower is. After building, students will be asked to reflect on their design. In addition, to complementing peers on their towers. As the teacher, I will model how to attach the marshmallow and spaghetti, before allowing students time to build. I will help guide students through the build as necessary.
