Students build their own atom! We will identify the protons, neutrons too! This is an experimental chemistry class where students get a sneak peek into atoms even the periodic table. Students will make predictions, be amazed, their mindset will shift, and both discussion and thinking will be dynamic. Students will receive feedback and encouragement during the class. Great, age-appropriate project offering numerous learning opportunities. *Slides will be shared during the lesson introducing topics applied in the lesson.
Learning Goals
Great experimental class! A wonderful hands-on lesson where students create what they cannot see. Student will select an atom from the periodic table and use a student page to represent that atom.
