In this Level 3 course, students will continue to learn the principles of programming and robotics through the use of Scratch and a fun little robot named Codey Rocky. NOTE: Students must have a Codey Rocky robot to enroll in this class.

In this Level 3 course, students will continue to learn the principles of programming and robotics through the use of Scratch and a fun little robot named Codey Rocky. Codey Rocky uses a visual blocked-based programming language making it easy for students to create complex sequences by just dragging and dropping.

At the end of the course, kids will continue to develop fundamental concepts of programming while having fun and playing games.

CLASS SCHEDULE:
Session 1:   Sensors! - Don't hit the wall.
Students will learn new concepts about Codey Rocky's sensors. We will do a fun activity about proximity sensors and their usability. 

Session 2: Conditionals and Loop Combo - Maze Game!
Students will further strengthen their understanding of conditionals in order to perform multiple tasks with a single event. Students will complete a guided practice followed by an independent practice. 

Session 3: Booleans Part 2 - Mission to the Moon!
Students will include the concepts of Booleans to use in fun learn the principles of Conditional events by completing a new guided practice followed by an independent game practice. 

Session 4: Functions
Students learn the principles of Functions by completing a new guided practice followed by an independent game practice. 

Session 5: Challenge Day!
Students will test their knowledge by completing a fun and interactive challenge activity with the class followed by an independent game practice.
