In this course, students will continue to learn the principles of programming and robotics through the use of Scratch and a fun little robot named Codey Rocky. Codey Rocky uses a visual blocked-based programming language making it easy for students to create complex sequences by just dragging and dropping.

At the end of the course, kids will understand the fundamental concepts of programming while having fun and playing games.

CLASS SCHEDULE:
Session 1:   Events, Sequences, and Loops
Students will review the learning from Level with a fun combo project using events, loops and sequences. We will review also the ability of parallel programming.  

Session 2: Parallel Sequences & Events (Dance Party)
Students will learn the concept of parallel sequences and events as well as how to perform multiple tasks with a single event. Students will complete a guided practice followed by an independent practice. 

Session 3: Conditionals
Students will learn the principles of Conditional events by completing a new guided practice followed by an independent game practice. 

Session 4: Conditionals Part 2
Students will continue learning the principles of Conditional events by completing a new guided practice followed by an independent game practice. 


Session 5: Challenge Day!
Students will test their knowledge by completing a fun and interactive challenge activity with the class followed by an independent game practice.
