This will be an experimental class where students use their creativity and reasoning skills to put their engineering skills into practice. Students will create a freestanding building and a bridge made out of uncooked spaghetti and marshmallows. The class will begin with basic specifications, goals and objectives. I served the Director of Ancillary Services tasked with planning and executing summer and winter camps at a PK-12 school. I hold a degree in Psychology and an MBA, a 150-hour master teacher certificate for teaching English as a second language courses and have served as a college counselor for almost 5 years advising students and families on the college acceptance process. I have taught middle school, have been an academic administrator in a Pre-K 12 school and was a founding director of a Learning Center.

One box regular spaghetti (not thin or angel hair), bag of mini-marshmallows, plain paper and a pencil. Class price adjusted for cost of supplies.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
