Description
Class Experience
In this one-time class, Learners will explore what clouds are, how they are formed, the different types of clouds, and how rain happens. Through slideshows, videos, and hands-on learning activities learners will learn and expand on their knowledge of clouds and STEAM concepts. Learners will then have the opportunity to participate and complete a science experiment on how rain is formed Science safety and personal protective equipment will be taught through slideshows and class discussions....
This class is taught in English.
- PDF Provided prior to class - Clear jar or cup - Shaving cream - Pipette - Water -Food Colouring
There will be a short, interactive quiz to gauge the learners' understanding of science safety prior to completing the experiment.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental Guidance and assistance are recommended during the experiment portion of our class. We will be using common household products to model how rain clouds are formed. Please note due to Outschool's safety policy, parents must remain off camera.
