Do you want to craft foods that look AND taste amazing? Kitoodle STEM CHEFS teaches students concepts in Chemistry and Math, and the finished product is food, packaged or ready for display! These classes give Makers important foundations in cooking and confidence to work in the kitchen. Makers will master the creation of eight finished food projects. Pre-packaged kits will be delivered to your doorstep so students have the materials they need from Day 1 of class. Although the projects are designed to be done independently, please note that a parent or older sibling will need to be available in case your student needs support assistance since some portions require advanced dexterity. Also some sessions will require adult preparation prior to class (such as boiling water with sugar to prep the solution). Our Fall Semester class brings students through 7 projects: Weeks 1 & 2 -> Churning and Curdling – Homemade Butter Weeks 3 & 4 -> Desaturation and Coagulation – Corzetti Pasta Weeks 5 & 6 -> Preservation and the Pectin Process - Fruit Jam Weeks 7 & 8 -> The Bromelain Enzyme – Fruit Pies Weeks 9 & 10 -> It’s All About the Chickpea – Healthy Hummus Weeks 11 & 12 -> Edible Paint Pallet - Painted Cookies Weeks 13 & 14 -> Cool Chemistry – Ice Cream Each food project is done twice, which enables Makers to master the cooking process. This also gives an opportunity to incorporate a creative twist of flavor! Makers learn how to package and present the food, laying the foundation to prepare foods on their own in the future! Your child will build their confidence in the kitchen, make amazing foods AND learn about important S.T.E.M. concepts in Kitoodle Creators!

And her repertoire of food making goes far beyond. She has taught cake decorating, baking and cooking to children and adults. Ms. Ann has a keen focus on presentation so all projects have a finished look.
Although she is passionate about making, Ms. Ann also has a number of professional talents.
