In this fun building challenge students will complete to see who can build the tallest structure out of bendy straws and scotch tape.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 6
Students will get a chance to introduce themselves and then we will quickly move into the building part of class. Students will have 10 minutes to build their towers during which they will be in their own private zoom rooms so they are not distracted by thevother builders. I will be checking in on the students as they are building. When the 10 minutes are up I will have the students measure their towers one at a time and I will write down all their heights. Each student will need 50 bendy straws, a roll of scotch tape and a yardstick.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
