STEM Camp 2022: Challenges for First Time and Repeat Learners!

Summer 2022 challenges will provide first time and repeat learners with a new experience. In this one week camp, students will use the engineering and design process to engage in hands-on STEM projects.

Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Learners can tell the steps of the engineering and design process.
Learners will use problem solving to work through challenges.
Learners will collaborate with others as they solve engineering challenges.
I am STEM certified by the state of Georgia and hold certification from the Buck Institute in PBL/STEM. I developed the STEM program at my local elementary school where I was the STEM Specials teacher for grades K-5. I lead Summer STEM camps at Georgia Tech University for students in grades 3-8.
A daily supply list will be provided to parents two to three weeks prior to the start of camp. The supply list will be posted in the classroom messages. Be sure your notifications are set so you will receive notification off classroom updates.
3 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
