In this one-time STEAM class, students will learn and expand upon STEAM concepts through slideshows, video clips, and class discussions. Learners will then have the opportunity to participate and complete a science experiment, making their very own bouncy balls. Science safety and personal protective equipment will be taught through slideshows and class discussions. There will be a short, interactive quiz to gauge the learners' understanding of science safety prior to completing the experiment.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be using household products to experiment and make our own bouncy balls. Parents may want to supervise and assist as needed. Please note that due to OUtschool's safety policies, parents must remain off-camera.
