Young Explorers in Science & Engineering Program - At Home is designed for learners to explore foundational STEM skills in a fun, safe, and interactive learning environment. This class aims to increase awareness of foundational STEM skills. Teacher will provide a new STEM concept each week. Parents will receive class description of materials needed one week prior. Learners will follow along with teacher conducting real-time science experiments and activities using interactive slides for...
Students will gain an appreciation for STEM through early exposure. Our weekly activities will have learners involved on many topics in science and engineering. Learners will gain an increase in understanding of urban horticulture and environmental education.

Assigned prior to class to enrolled parents. Students will use a science journal for class.
Will be provided to all enrolled learners via the classroom.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents will receive specific class lesson week prior to determine materials needed. Majority of the lesson students will be able to work on independently. Minimum adult assistance may be required for class prep.
