STEAM: Turkey Egg Drop
In this one time class learners will work to find a way to protect their Turkey (egg) from breaking when dropped! Learners will also be given an opportunity to revise their plan and try again.

In this fun filled STEM class learners will be given an opportunity to decorate their Turkey (egg). The teacher will then explain to the learners that their Turkeys are about to have a big fall and they need to be protected from breaking. Learners will be given a set amount of time to create their protection for their Turkey. Each learners design will differ as they use their creativity to make the best design. 2 eggs Paper with turkey parts to put on egg will be available upon enrollment. Please make sure the pieces are cut out before class. Tape Googly eyes or permanent marker Markers Ziploc bag Any of the following: popsicle sticks, cotton balls, plastic bags, aluminum foil, etc.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Learners may need help with tape or other design elements
