In this one-time course, learners will learn to use their creativity and make flowers for Mother's Day or that special someone using any household item, while learning public speaking, the parts of a flower and STEAM skills.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to be creative, improvise, brainstorm, have discussions with each other, listen to feedback, take-turns speaking, listen to each other, communicate, public speak, and work on hand-eye coordination, all while making a Mother's Day gift to the special woman (women) in their lives.
No homework is assigned. Learner will hopefully finish their projects to be presented and gifted to their loved one for Mother's Day.
Art Supply ideas, and not limited to: Construction paper (or plain white paper) Toilet paper rolls Newspaper Shoebox Food coloring Coffee Filters Popsicle sticks Tape Glue Pom poms Ribbons Plastic bag String Balloons Packing peanuts, bubble wraps Paint Markers, and/or crayons Sponges
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Scissor cutting should be monitored for the younger students.
