US Grade 3 - 5
In this STEAM challenge class we will focus on a new challenge each week to develop your learner's intellectual curiosity! Creativity is encouraged and new ideas are always welcomed. We will always begin class with a chance for learners to introduce themselves and then we will dive into the logistics of the challenge. Learners will be encouraged to share their ideas during the planning stage and ask for or offer advice when needed. During the completion of the challenge, students may choose to engage in conversation or work more independently depending on their preferences. The materials for the week will always be sent to the parent's email the week before class so learners can come prepared with what they may need! Here are the challenges: May 10th- spaghetti tower May 17th- crazy creature May 24th- build a boat May 31st- roller coaster June 7th- egg drop June 14th- solar powered oven June 21st- build a bridge June 28th- catapult July 5th- musical instrument July 12th- paper airplane July 19th- create a car July 26th- create a new toy
