STEAM Challenge: Ooblek Egg Drop
In this STEAM (similar to STEM but the A includes "Art") challenge, students will test 3 egg drop designs before creating their own egg protector!

Description
Class Experience
Students will need the following materials: - 3 plastic bags (sandwich sized) - One container of choice for the DIY protector - 1 cup of flour - 2 cups of water - 1 cups of cornstarch - 4 eggs - Any other materials needed to create their own protector
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will need to drop the eggs from a height and may want to use a ladder, chair, table, etc. to stand on. Parental guidance is suggested. If an adult is not available, students will not be permitted to climb on anything.
