There are some materials that sound good for boat making because they float, but in this class, we will work together to see if we can make boats that float out of regular old paper. We will do lots of group discussion and brainstorming and tests to see if we can think of ways to make our pieces of paper last a bit longer in the water. Please bring your imagination, some pieces of paper, pencils, a ruler, straw, and a tub of water. Your water tub could be a plastic shoe box, sink, bathtub,...
