Description

Class Experience

S.T.E.A.M. Ahead- is a 3 week Camp for ages 4 years- 7 years old. 

The class includes project based activities that are hands-on and focus on enriching language and strengthening higher-order/critical thinking skills, early math skills and creativity in young learners. 

S.T.E.A.M. stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. Each week, we will do projects based on one of the subject areas.  All Classes will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

TEACHER: Mrs. Mitchell...

This class is taught in English.

Learners will strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving skills. They will foster their creativity, follow instructions to complete tasks with various steps, develop new oral language and gain confidence in their abilities.

My name is Mrs. Mitchell. I have been a Early Childhood Educator for 13 years. Over the last 5 years I have taught Pre-Kindergarten. In Pre-K, I teach a lot Kindergarten Readiness Skills in all learning domains. I have also worked in the Virtual learning classroom with SmartKids teaching ages 3 years - 5 years.

A supply list will be provided in the classroom for your access after enrollment.

2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
